Product Description

The sound reduction qualities of this heavy duty rubber underlay means it can lower impact noise by up to a 26db, if you’re looking at improving the noise insulation of a flat or upstairs room then this is one of the best options in this budget on the market. Constructed using recycled car tyres this not only provides an excellent material for underlay construction allowing much heavier foot traffic but is kinder to the environment. The gold vapour barrier prevents moisture rising up through a concrete or mineral based sub-floor and damaging the boards and it is our recommendation that the gold face be laid floor side down. Each roll will cover up to 8m2 and is 5mm in thickness, it also carries a tog rating of 1.03. This is without a doubt one of best performing underlays available and ideally suited for use with both laminate and engineered flooring across a huge range of sub-floors.
